Musicshowcase.com went live in May 2006 with the primary goal of promoting under-represented musicians. Let's face it!
The "industry" is limited in the number of artists it can simultaneously promote. Generally, the select few that drive the sales get promoted and the rest get neglected. We are part of a growing community on the internet trying to change that. Our primary target is touring musicians that get good show turnout but have record sales below 100,000. Some of these phenomenal artists even have sales well below 1,000 because they lack the financial power to get their music heard.

This coming summer, with the release of Flash Player version 9, we will be releasing our integrated tools to help artists
to manage and further promote their music. This portion of musicshowcase started as a Computer Science Graduate School Final Project. Stay tuned!
